Private donations, business sponsorships and grants enable us to stage our signature concert event with no admission charge. But we continue to support our heroes and their families long after the music ends!
Net proceeds raised go directly to our Hero Fund, through which we support existing programs and initiatives that align with our mission. In addition, Rockin’ 4 Heroes creates new scholarship opportunities for those considering a career in Public Service.
THE ROCKIN’ 4 HEROES JACOB DINDINGER MEMORIAL EMT SCHOLARSHIP
• In 2024, we launched a new EMT endowment scholarship through the Pima Foundation at Pima Community College in Tucson, AZ.
The Rockin’ 4 Heroes Jacob Dindinger Memorial Scholarship honors a young Tucson EMT who tragically lost his life while on duty serving our community. Jacob aspired to be a firefighter. His legacy continues through this scholarship to encourage individuals to pursue careers in emergency services. Two scholarships are awarded annually, one in the fall and one in the spring semester.
INITIATIVES WE SUPPORT
• Spiritual care and support for police families provided through services at Strength & Shield.
• Service dog training opportunities and lifetime support for disabled veterans through Dogs4Vets.
• Honoring Arizona’s past and present heroes by supporting the construction efforts for the Arizona Heroes Memorial.
• Childcare, counseling, support groups and other resources that promote long-term wellness of first responder and active duty military families through the Erik Hite Foundation.
• Veteran participation in Community events and other support for Veterans, provided by the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
• The Christmas card program for wounded military at Walter Reed Hospital delivered by the American Red Cross.
• Restoring pride and patriotism to communities by reviving abandoned flag poles with beautiful new American flags, provided by Flags for the Flagless.
OUR VISION MOVING FORWARD
Rockin’ 4 Heroes continues to seek new ways in which to support our four hero groups through the R4H Hero Fund. We will continue to raise awareness of our heroes’ service and sacrifice, while working to inspire future heroes to pursue careers in public service.
Year-round donations help Rockin’ 4 Heroes achieve our mission to develop new scholarship opportunities, assist current initiatives and seek additional projects that allow us to help our heroes live their best lives.
