We continue to support our Heroes and their families long after the music ends!
Thanks to the generosity of our community—including business sponsors, private donors, and local and national grant partners—Rockin’ 4 Heroes is able to honor our Heroes through our annual free-admission concert and provide year-round support through our Hero Fund initiatives.
The Rockin’ 4 Heroes Jacob Dindinger Memorial EMT Scholarship
This EMT endowment scholarship honors a young Tucson EMT who tragically lost his life while on duty. Created in 2024 in partnership with the Pima Foundation at Pima Community College in Tucson, AZ, this endowment will fund three scholarships annually, ensuring Jacob’s legacy will encourage and enable young individuals to pursue careers in emergency medical services.
Rockin’ 4 Heroes Veteran Student Endowment at the University of Arizona
This Endowment’s goal is to support student veterans and Gold Star family members by providing financial aid for academic and non-academic expenses beyond what the GI Bill covers. The Rockin’ 4 Heroes fund is a critical resource to help with expenses such as childcare, housing and unexpected emergencies, allowing student veterans to stay focused on their academic goals.
Law Enforcement Support Fund
Law enforcement officers across Southern Arizona working to advance their careers through continuing education now have a new source of support. A newly established fund from Rockin’ 4 Heroes provides financial assistance to officers working to advance their careers through continuing education and training while serving our communities. The fund is open to active-duty officers enrolled in educational programs that enhance their professional growth—whether working toward an undergraduate or post-graduate degree, leadership development, or specialized advanced training certifications.
Initiatives We Support
- Spiritual care and support for police families provided through services at Strength & Shield.
- Service dog training opportunities and lifetime support for disabled Veterans through Dogs4Vets.
- Honoring Arizona’s past and present Heroes by supporting the construction efforts for the Arizona Heroes Memorial.
- Childcare, counseling, support groups and other resources that promote long-term wellness of first responder and active duty military families through the Erik Hite Foundation.
- Veteran participation in community events and other support for Veterans, provided by the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
- The Christmas card program for wounded military at Walter Reed Hospital delivered by the American Red Cross.
- Restoring pride and patriotism to communities by reviving abandoned flag poles with new American flags, provided by Flags for the Flagless.
Our Vision Moving Forward
Rockin’ 4 Heroes continues to seek new ways in which to support our 4 Hero groups through the R4H Hero Fund. Specifically, we strive to create scholarships and funding opportunities for folks seeking to pursue public service careers. We continue to raise awareness of our Heroes’ service and sacrifice, while working to inspire future Heroes to pursue careers in public service year-round.
Donations help Rockin’ 4 Heroes achieve our mission to develop new scholarship opportunities, assist current initiatives and seek additional projects that allow us to help our Heroes live their best lives.
