About Rockin' 4 Heroes
Our Story
Rockin’ 4 Heroes was founded in 2021 by Michael and Bonnie Quinn as a heartfelt tribute to the First Responder community — paramedics, police officers, doctors, and nurses — whose professional and compassionate care supported their late son, PJ, during his courageous battle with cancer.
As longtime supporters of our Military, Veterans, and Gold Star Families, the Quinns envisioned the event as more than a concert. They saw it as a powerful way to honor all those who selflessly serve and protect our city, state, and country, while giving communities an opportunity to come together in gratitude and appreciation.
The community embraced that vision wholeheartedly. In just six short years, the Rockin’ 4 Heroes Concert has grown into Southern Arizona’s largest free outdoor rock concert, drawing thousands of attendees from across the region and beyond for an unforgettable afternoon of live music, unity, and heartfelt appreciation for our heroes.
Our Organization
At Rockin’ 4 Heroes, our guiding principle is simple: honor and support those who serve our communities and our country. Through the generosity of business sponsors, private donors, and local and national grant partners, we are able to host our annual free-admission tribute concert and provide meaningful year-round assistance through our Hero Fund scholarships and other initiatives.
We are a 501c3 non-profit, all-volunteer organization, from Event Day workers to our General Event Committee, Event Executive Committee, Community Ambassadors, and our Board of Directors. We are proud to operate Rockin’ 4 Heroes at just 2% administrative overhead expenses.
