INVESTING IN THE FUTURE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT HEROES
At Rockin 4 Heroes, our work continues long after the music ends. Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, donors, volunteers and community partners, we’ve been busy making an impact all year long. Here’s a look at what’s happening…
This year, we launched the Rockin’ 4 Heroes Law Enforcement Support Fund to help local law enforcement officers pursue continuing education and professional training. We were pleased to award $1,000 education grants to six officers from the Tucson Police Department, Marana Police Department and Oro Valley Police Department.
We’re proud to invest in them, because when we invest in the professional development of our law enforcement officers, we invest in the safety and well-being of our entire community. Here are highlights from the awards announcement, thanks to our friends in the media: BIZ Tucson; KOLD 13 News and KVOA News 4.
JACOB DINDINGER EMT SCHOLARSHIP NOW FUNDS THREE ASPIRING FIRST RESPONDERS
JACOB DINDINGER EMT SCHOLARSHIP NOW FUNDS THREE ASPIRING FIRST RESPONDERS
Jacob, a Tucson EMT, was tragically killed in the line of duty in 2021. His legacy will continue in perpetuity through the memorial endowment scholarship established by Rockin’ 4 Heroes in 2024 at Pima Community College. The Jacob Dindinger Memorial EMT Scholarship supports three aspiring First Responders annually!
Jacob’s legacy came full circle this spring when Edwin Gallego, a scholarship recipient, became a full-time Firefighter at Golder Ranch Fire District in a heartwarming graduation ceremony attended by Jacob’s mother, Corrine Dindinger. Click here to view story.
