Local Businesses Partner with Rockin’ 4 Heroes to Stage
Free Concert for Public to Celebrate Those Who Serve
Community-Wide Event Honors First Responders, Active Military, Veterans and Gold Star Families

(October 28, 2024 -TUCSON, AZ) –Leading Southern Arizona businesses, organizations and private donors have joined local nonprofit Rockin’ 4 Heroes to sponsor a free rock and country music fest for the Tucson community to enjoy on Veterans Day Weekend while celebrating and paying public tribute to those who serve ,protect and sacrifice – First Responders, Active Military, Veterans and Gold Star families.
“It is so gratifying to see attendance double every year as many more continue to share our vision to honor, thank the many unsung heroes in our community who serve and protect us daily. We are grateful to have many business leaders and private donors provide financial contributions as well as in-kind products and services,” said Bonnnie Quinn, Co-founder of Rockin’ 4 Heroes.
“Thanks to their support, proceeds from the event benefit our Hero Fund so that long after the music stops, we can continue to support programs and initiatives that benefit these heroes throughout the year.”.
Leading the list are Title Sponsor American Furniture Warehouse and Entertainment Sponsor HSL Properties. Additional sponsors joining the celebration include Pima County Attractions and Tourism, Town of Oro Valley, Hughes Federal Credit Union, Tucson Electric Power, Gaslight Music Hall, Goettl Plumbing, Oro Valley Marketplace, Finley Distributing, AXON, American Patriot Memorial, Advanced Sheetmetal, Finding Comfort Placement Services and others.
There is no cost to attend and enjoy music by headliner Lexington Lab Band, considered one of America’s greatest 80s cover bands, and local country favorite Mark Miller Band. The concert is Sunday, November 10 at James Kriegh Park in Oro Valley starting at 1;00 pm.
In addition to live music, other activities at the Rockin’ 4 Heroes event include:
– Presentation of Community Hero Awards to local First Responder and Veterans/
– Booths representing more than 20 local and regional first responders, veterans and military organizations.
– 249th birthday celebration of the United States Marine Corp
– Live auction and raffles
– Family-friendly activities, including photos with Smooch the Donkey from Therapeutic Ranch for Animals and Kids (TRAK).
– More than 10 food and beverage trucks.
